Deposits are required to schedule an appointment. Deposits are non-refundable retainer fees that are applied to total cost of your tattoo upon completion, as long as our appointment policies have not been violated. Deposit costs are as follows: $50 for small tattoo, $100 for large/multi session projects and $200 for extra large projects.

Appointment Policy

48 hour notice is needed for cancellations, reschedules or design/idea changes. Immediate Loss of deposit if proper notice isn’t applied. We need to be given enough at least this amount of time to refill slots.

One reschedule is permitted on a paid deposit, any further reschedules for the project will forfeit current deposit and require a new deposit for any further booking.

By paying a deposit, you are agreeing to fulfill the appointment slot that you agree to upon payment. If you are doing session work, you must fulfill the amount of time you agreed to sit for.

By paying a deposit and booking, you are agreeing to honor and respect the artists time and process.

Show up no sooner than 15 minutes before your appointment time, show up right on time if preferred. If you are running late please call the shop. 30 minutes late will result in loss of deposit and need for rescheduling. We run tight schedules.

One one guest per client permitted. We have a small shop, we don’t typically have the room for more than that.

Booking Process

Start by viewing our artists individual portfolios. Once you have selected a preferred artist you can email them using our BOOKING link. Fill out the submission form to the best of your ability. Include the specific location on the body and size in inches you are requesting in your details. Your artist will typically reply 24-48 hours after submission. Upon replying, the artist may request more details, reference images or for you to call the shop and schedule an in person consultation.

Design Process

Designs are generally only presented to the client the day of the starting tattoo appointment and no sooner. We will not send designs ahead of time. This is to prevent theft and loss of time.

Designs are typically presented in stencil form for the tattoo and not presented as fully rendered designs.

3. GETTING TATTOOED

Show up to your appointment on time. Eat before you arrive, this is necessary. Do not drink alcohol the night before. Keep your tattoo area free from sun burns, acne and cuts and scrapes. Leave the tattoo area free from compression for at least 2 hours before appointment i.e. socks, shoes, tight bra straps and wedding bands/rings. Failure to do so will result in the tattoo becoming distorted. Bring yourself snacks, covered drinks and any other comforts that will help you sit well for your tattoo session. You are allowed one person in the booth with you. Do not bring alcoholic beverages.

  • Area prep with surgical soap, shaved and sprayed with rubbing alcohol

  • Stencil will be placed in location and you will review and approve placement

  • Tattooing begins once stencil is dry

  • Nitrile gloves will be used

  • Sterile, stainless steel, medical grade one time use needles will be used

  • Bactine, witch hazel and Green soap will be used.

  • You will be bandaged with Tegaderm or a similar clear waterproof bandage unless predisposed to adhesive allergies commonly used on medical tape.

  • We will instruct you in how to properly heal your tattoo. The instructions will be printed for you and provided here.

4. TOUCH UP

Single sitting tattoos can obtain one free touch up to be claimed within 6 months of receiving the tattoo. This is conditional in that

  • You followed exact healing instructions

  • You notify your artist of any healing issues

  • The tattoo has not been sunburnt or long periods of sun exposure

  • You follow all advice given based on your tattoo location

  • Multisession tattoos do not qualify for free touch ups. These will be touched up as the sessions go. Your deposits will be applied to the last session where everything gets a final pass to bring all the separate sections together.

It is highly recommended on color tattoos to do 2 full passes to ensure it’s best longevity. Some colors can fade quickly as some pigments can process through the body easier than others, causing your work of art to lose contrast. A 2nd full pass will help maximize the fullness and richness of your colors for better longevity.
